IT5009.10 Cybersecurity Governance and Risk Management
This subject covers cybersecurity governance and risk management for businesses. In this subject, emphasis will be given to creating, reviewing, and updating cybersecurity policies for various standards and processes in Australia and overseas. Different approaches to cybersecurity from an enterprise lens will be examined. Students will learn about identifying threats, possible cyber-attacks, vulnerabilities, possible risks, and the requirements for a secure landscape in an enterprise. The subject will also outline the best practices and regulatory requirements for handling cybersecurity risks along with management controls and barriers. In addition, the development of policies and procedures to address and align with cybersecurity governance, ethics, and legislation will also be covered.
