IT5006.10 AI for Entrepreneurship

In this subject, students will learn to unleash the creativity of entrepreneurs with AI technologies. The challenges and opportunities for the 21st century and the AI era of entrepreneurship will be examined. Students will learn how cloud services, mobile computing, blockchain, and other AI techniques are used in businesses and start-ups for entrepreneurs. New ways of working, implications for the organisational design and financing of entrepreneurial ventures will be addressed. Students will develop key skills and factors of entrepreneurial success through case studies. Class activities engage students in case studies to explore ethical dimensions and professional practice in entrepreneurship. Students develop, pitch and then prototype an AI product or service.
