This subject covers Robotic process automation (RPA) replacement for applications. UiPath will be used to develop and implement the automated applications. The UiPath and the interface for the workflow for RPA is covered in the subject. This subject also covers the methods and techniques to automate different applications using the tool and for building applications. Software bots will be built and good practices for bot deployment will be addressed for each application that is developed. Case studies on Robot Process Automation will also be covered for various businesses. Students will learn how to use RPA tools and will develop techniques to build, manipulate and enhance the services or process efficiency. The advantages and disadvantages of deploying robotic process automation will be considered alongside ethics and professionalism. The need for reskilling human resources in the enterprise where current skills will not be required for repetitive tasks will be addressed.
