
Davina McArthur
Director
Davina McArthur is an experienced strategy, transformation and public policy leader with expertise in organisational performance, program design, delivery and evaluation, and governance. Throughout her career, she has worked across higher education, consulting, government and the not-for-profit sector, supporting organisations to deliver meaningful social impact through strategic reform and improved organisational effectiveness.
Driven by a longstanding commitment to equity and social change, Davina has built her career helping organisations navigate complex challenges, develop evidence-informed strategy, and implement initiatives that improve outcomes for communities. Much of her work has focused on education, with a particular emphasis on access, participation and equity.
Davina currently works at the University of New South Wales. Prior to this, she spent more than a decade in management consulting with Nous Group, advising public, private and not-for-profit organisations on strategy, transformation and performance. Earlier in her career, she worked as a social and public policy consultant with AECOM and served as Acting Program Coordinator for the Indigenous Governance Awards at Reconciliation Australia.
Davina brings valuable governance experience, having served as an Advisory Board Member for the Centre for Media Transition at the University of Technology Sydney from 2017 to 2024. She holds a Master of Laws (Government and Commercial Law) and a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Commerce (Political Science and International Business) from the Australian National University. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
