Students build expertise in software development, programming, databases, networking, computer architecture, operating systems, cloud computing, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, generative AI, data analytics and information management. Throughout the course, students apply these capabilities to authentic industry problems while developing communication, teamwork, ethical decision-making and project management skills that are essential for professional practice.

Students may complete a broad Information Technology qualification or pursue a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or Data and Cloud, allowing them to develop advanced knowledge in areas experiencing strong global demand.
