Bachelor of Information Technology
IT3200.10 – Artificial Intelligence Applications
This subject develops students’ foundational knowledge and practical skills in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) across business, technology, and societal contexts. Students explore core AI concepts including machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, and generative AI, with a focus on practical, industry-relevant applications. Through guided labs, case studies, and project-based learning, they gain experience in building, evaluating, and using AI systems while developing effective human–AI collaboration skills. The subject also emphasises responsible AI practice, including awareness of bias, privacy, and system limitations. By the end, students can apply AI techniques to real-world problems and communicate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
