IT3060.10 – Data Analytics in the Cloud

This subject develops students' knowledge and practical skills in data analytics within cloud computing environments. Students learn to collect, process, analyse, and visualise data using Python, cloud-based platforms, and industry-standard tools to generate insights that support business decision-making. Through hands-on projects, they apply the full data analytics lifecycle while addressing ethics, security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI use. The subject culminates in the design and implementation of an end-to-end cloud-based analytics solution, preparing students for professional roles in data analytics, business intelligence, and cloud-based data science.
