IT3030.10 – Information Technology Project Management

This subject develops students' ability to plan, manage, deliver, and evaluate Information Technology projects across diverse organisational contexts. Students apply project management principles and contemporary digital tools, including Artificial Intelligence, to areas such as software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data technologies, and digital transformation. Through authentic project-based learning, they develop practical skills in project planning, stakeholder engagement, risk and quality management, governance, teamwork, leadership, and professional communication. The subject prepares graduates to contribute to and lead IT projects while demonstrating ethical practice, sound professional judgement, and effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
