IT2200.10 – Cybersecurity and Large Language Models

This subject develops students’ capability to evaluate, govern, and securely apply Large Language Models (LLMs) and Artificial Intelligence systems in organisational environments. Students examine AI from both cybersecurity and governance perspectives, exploring risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, adversarial attacks, model misuse, and misinformation, while also investigating how AI can strengthen threat intelligence, incident response, security operations, an  bd risk assessment. Through authentic scenarios and industry-relevant case studies, students develop professional skills in AI governance, ethics, privacy, compliance, risk management, and secure AI deployment, preparing them for further study and careers in cybersecurity, AI governance, technology risk, and secure system design.
