CS3030.10 - Digital Technology and Community Services

In this subject, students explore digital knowledge including use of current Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, preparing for new technologies and applications, as well as developing competency to meet service users’ needs and manage societal digitalization. The consequences of COVID have led to greater use of digital technologies such as zoom and Microsoft Teams to work collaboratively with colleagues as well as provide direct services to service users. Students will be supported to use digital tools and technology applications critically, confidently, and creatively. Also, students will critically review safety and ethical considerations as well as problem-solving skills to handle the challenges from the growth in digital societies.
